A website dedicated to the memory and lives of all direct descendants of Edwin Joseph Allen, Sr. and his wife, Margaret Louise Fernald Allen, as well as their friends and relations.
About Heading
The purpose of this website is to replace the long-moribund “Round Robin” that our family used to send in an extended “circle” from one family member to the next, like a Robin making rounds by bringing news. (Hence, “Round Robin.”)
The wreath, wind and leaves represent how the “Round Robin” was sent from one family member to the next, until finally arriving back at the original sender (who would then remove his or her old material and replace it with new).
The American Robin with the bright red or orange breast represents the American Side of he family.
